Ecuador comes through as a more evolved country than Peru . The cars are better, the streets cleaner, the cities clearly better organized. And, of course, the people are nicer. In Cuenca , an impressive colonial city, I said farewell to the Brazilians. The complicated areas of north Peru and its border were overcome and the travelling timings differed a little. Maybe up ahead we would get together again, keeping in sight the comforting chance of entering Colombia with company....
